“The magic behind the reviews”

Emily's Story
Hey, I’m Emily — professional bookworm, romantasy addict, and the mind behind Romantasy Review.
If there’s one thing I love more than coffee (and trust me, I really love coffee), it’s a good story — especially the kind with slow-burn romance, magical kingdoms, and morally grey love interests I probably shouldn’t root for… but absolutely do.
What started as a harmless reading habit turned into a borderline obsession with fantasy romance. You know — fae courts, forbidden love, ancient prophecies, enemies-to-lovers tension so thick you could cut it with a dagger… all the good stuff.
Romantasy Review is my little haven for readers who feel the same — a cozy, nerdy, passionate place where we can gush over books, cry over cliffhangers, and argue over which fictional boyfriend is the best (spoiler: they’re all flawed, and we love them anyway).
Here, you’ll find honest reviews, curated book lists, upcoming releases, and the occasional fangirl ramble — all written by someone who gets what it means to lose sleep over a good book.
So grab your favorite brew, settle in, and welcome to the magical mess that is romantasy. I’m glad you’re here.

Meet Sadie, the Romantasy Review Mascot
Sadie isn’t just a dog — she’s the fiercely adorable guardian of all things romantasy. Loyal to her mama (Emily), suspicious of delivery people, and downright feral toward anyone trying to borrow a book without asking, Sadie has been protecting unread chapters and late-night reading sessions since day one.
Her Special Skills
- Growling at anything that looks like a villain.
- Keeping Emily company during marathon reading binges.
- Licking away tears after tragic plot twists.
- Keeping the bed warm (even when she is not invited).
- Biting the ankles of people who slander dragons or love triangles.

Current Obsession
This is what Emily’s reading, re-reading, or can’t shut up about right now.
How My Rating System Works
Not all romantasy books are created equal — some steal our hearts, some just steal a few hours. Here’s how Emily rates the tales she reads, using a little bit of fae magic and a lot of caffeine-fueled passion:
